Back from China talks
US Treasury Secretary Mnuchin is tweeting about the productivity gains announce earler today:
Indeed the productivity news today was good news, but after just getting back from China where talks were described by China media as being at an impasse, and ahead of the employment report tomorrow, you wonder if the tweet is a distraction from bad news to come?
One remembers when Pres Trump talked about employment the day before release. Talking about labor productivity is not off limits, it just is curious.....
PS Mnuchin called the meetings with China this week as being "productive".
