Dow still the biggest decliner
The Nasdaq index was the bright spot in trading early in the session. It moved to a new record intraday high of 8151.845 led my gains in Microsoft, Paypal, Amazon. However, the index has moved back down and has now joined the S&P and Dow in the red. The index is now down (low reached 8075.414). The current price is 8083, down -18 points on the day. The highest close is up at 8120.82.
The market is having trouble stomaching the highs and looks forward to the next set of earnings clues after the close.
PS the USDJPY has cracked below the 200 day MA with help from the stock slide.
