Out on rtrs a short while ago from NATO’s military commander

  • Russia has all the forces it needs to make an incursion into Ukraine
  • could accomplish that in 3-5 days
  • NATO has spotted signs of movement of a very small part of Russian forces that have not returned to barracks
  • NATO working on a package of proposals by April 15 to re-inforce East European allies by air land and sea

In return Russia has accused NATO of using language that “echoes the Cold War”

  • says neither Russia or NATO will gain from their decision to suspend co-operation

I still reckon this will end in tears but let’s hope it just remains verbal posturing by both sides.

No signs of rushing for the safe-havens again just yet
