The main US services sector PMI

  • Prior was 60.1 (was best since 2005)
  • New orders 58.7 vs 62.8 prior
  • Prices paid 60.7 vs 62.7 prior
  • Employment 55.3 vs 57.5 prior

It looks like the past couple months were skewed by the hurricanes and now it's leveling out. A reading of 57.4 in this index is still very strong.
