Despite the slight drop relative to a year ago, retail sales improved on the month in real terms growing by 0.3% compared to the drop seen in January of 0.1%. However, overall consumption/retail sentiment remains somewhat sluggish and isn't really a telling sign of confidence in the Swiss economy at the moment.
