As the countdown to May 7 continues let's have a quick look at the current state of play according to recent polls
The BBC has this poll of polls tracker which measures opinion poll support for the Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats, Green Party and UKIP ahead of the 2015 general election.
The Beeb also has some handy tips here to reading poll information and how accurate they really are
The chart shows just how tight the two main parties currently are but doesn't fully show the growing support in Scotland for the SNP which, as I reported here, are likely to obliterate the opposition on home ground and forecast to win 53 out of the 59 seats on offer. This would undoubtedly give them the balance of power if true, and which we anticipate being shown in favour of the Labour Party. But it's not quite that simple given they are taking Labour seats in the process
Meanwhile, UK fin min George Osborne has been on tv this morning (kicks in at 44.00 but there's a cool interview with Kevin Spacey prior!) and he's typically dodging the question of how he intends to find the additional £8bln they've announced today to throw at the NHS
The blame game and bladerdash continues!
