Still awaiting further details on the headline here. But this in essence isn't good news for oil prices as it means that Iran will still be able to keep up with supplies to these eight nations. It will now depend as to which of the nations are included.
Iran's major oil importers are India, China, and Japan. If they are included, then the sanctions by the US are hardly worth anything in my view.
