They say 'multiple agencies' will take actions and that the "Justice Department is expected to announce the indictments of multiple hackers suspected of working for a Chinese intelligence service and participating in a long-running espionage campaign that targeted U.S. networks."
The administration will also deflassify intelligence relating to breaches.
Ultimately, the question is whether the US wants China to slightly alter its course and if China can accept that. Or if the US sees China as a technology rival and is working to undercut it.
