Great story in the WSJ

The WSJ is out with the story of Whirlpool and the CEO was thrilled when the White House put tariffs on imported washing machines only to watch the company share fall 15% over the next six months because of steel and aluminum tariffs.

It also shows how tariffs are hitting inflation with the price of a washing machine up 20% in the past three months.

That will cause trouble for the Fed as it tries to separate tariff inflation from real inflation.
