What would make you a better trader in 2017?

Generally, wishlists fall into three categories: tools, education and technology.

If you want to stay on top of the market, you need to be constantly investing in all three. The market never stands still.

So what's on your wish list?

For me, I need to invest in tools and technology.

For one, I need a new desk.

It's bland but I have this big oval-shaped desk. My wife hates it because it's beat up and wobbly but it's been good to me. I've had it for about 8 years and I lost a brace for it at some point so it's barely holding together.

What I love about it is the ergonomics. I'm obsessed with having things just right and my monitors, keyboards and mouses (mice?) are in just the right places so my arms and neck never hurt.

Plus, I bought it from Karl Wolf, who is semi-famous for this song. And he told me he mixed that album on this desk.

But I'm building a new office and it's time for an upgrade so I'll measure out all the angles and get something nicer and more stable. It sill makes me nervous because I hate changing up something that works.

The other thing on my list is a monitor upgrade. I've got eight 23" monitors so it's a big expense. They all work fine but they put out too much heat and then I have to balance it out with an air conditioner and the noise irritates me.

So I'm going to get something cool and efficient even if I have to sacrifice a bit of performance. But I don't want to do the research so does anyone have a solution?

I'm also thinking about getting a pair of Dell P4317Q monitors (shown above). It's like four 21.5-inch monitors without a bezel. Anyone tried it?
