• China is set to approve slightly more than 1 trillion yuan in additional sovereign debt issuance on Tuesday.
• The Chinese Communist Party is ramping up efforts to boost infrastructure spending and encourage economic growth.

The standing committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), are set to approve the extra debt issuance on the last day of a meeting

• The meeting ran from October 20 to 24 (Tuesday is the 24th)
