China's services PMI expansion slowed a touch in April, but remains solid - recap

China's Caixin Services and Composite PMIs for April are here:

• China Caixin Services PMI for March 52.5 (expected 52.5, prior 52.7)

Earlier this month we had the other PMIs from China, all also solid:

• China April 2024 Official Manufacturing PMI 50.4 (expected 50.3) Services 51.2 (exp 52.2)

• China April Caixin manufacturing PMI 51.4 (expected 51.0)

• "The strong start to the year is consistent with the Caixin manufacturing and services PMIs, which have remained in expansionary territory for several straight months," said Wang Zhe, Senior Economist at Caixin Insight Group.
