A mildly better mood after the sluggish showing yesterday

UK FTSE futures +0.3%

As we have seen during the week, any early optimism can easily be faded when it comes to European equities. French stocks will remain in focus after the CAC 40 fell by 1% yesterday ahead of the first round of elections this weekend. Elsewhere, S&P 500 futures are seen up 0.26% currently.
