The heavy selling in Europe yesterday came amid a more hawkish ECB with the Eurostoxx, DAX, CAC 40 all posting over 3% losses. As such, the light bounce here really isn't saying much. In the case of the DAX, it is a painful retreat after having come close to test the June high earlier this week:
