There are reports of celebrations in the streets in Gaza so it would be cruel if there is no deal.
A Hamas official told Reuters they have received the truce proposal but haven't given response to any parties and it is still being studied. They added 'we cannot say current state of negotiations is zero and at the same time, we cannot say that we have reached an agreement'.
Oil has fallen to fresh lows though so it seems as though someone knows something.
