GBP/USD touches a low of 1.2980
The pound is weaker across the board falling to session lows on the day against the major currencies bloc. Cable falls to a low of 1.2980 while EUR/GBP rises to a high of 0.8922 on the day.
Theresa May is answering questions at the Commons now with Corbyn speaking at the moment. You can watch the whole thing here, but so far there isn't any notable headline to have come up from that regarding Brexit.
The pound is having a bit of a mini-whipsaw on the day, with cable having risen to a high of 1.3048 earlier only to give back those gains now.
If cable buyers are unable to sustain a hold above 1.3000, expect more bearish tones to take over with the 100-hour MA (red line) @ 1.2976 a key level to eye for sellers. Break below and the near-term bearish bias will be broken.
