Not too surprising
A snapshot of the strongest of the weakest now shows the USD is the strongest of the majors. The EUR is the weakest. The dollar is up 0.42% vs the EUR. It is up only 0.14% vs the CAD. The CAD jobs report came in weaker than expected but oil is up and traders may be giving the loonie a free pass given the US economy's potential impact on Canadian growth.
